Every trip runs in tune.
Instrumental Travel is a Rochdale-based coach operator built for groups that need to arrive together and on time — school parties, brass band contests, senior citizen outings and private hire across Greater Manchester and beyond.
Coach hire, arranged around your itinerary
From a single school trip to a season of contest dates, every job gets a fixed price, a named driver and a coach sized to the group.
Day trips & excursions
Seaside runs, Christmas markets, theatre matinees and one-off outings — door-to-door pickup with room for the group's kit.
School & college transport
DBS-checked drivers and seatbelt-fitted coaches for fixtures, field trips and residentials, booked directly with your office.
Band & contest travel
Instrument bays, careful loading and contest-day timings for brass bands and musical societies travelling to rehearsals and competitions.
Luggage & instrument van
A liveried van with a fold-down ramp, hired on its own to move instruments or luggage, or alongside a coach when the hold needs extra room.
Senior citizen outings
Low-step boarding, unhurried pickup points and drivers who know to wait — built for club and community group trips.
Private & group hire
Weddings, works nights out, sports fixtures and family occasions — one coach, one price, one point of contact.
Long & short distance
Anything from a village hall to a weekend away — we plan the route, the stops and the return leg together with you.
One executive spec, right across the fleet
Every coach we run is a matching 55-seat executive, so whichever one turns up, the group gets the same standard of travel.
55-seat executive coach
- Reclining seats with belts throughout
- Underfloor luggage & instrument storage
- Matching spec across the whole fleet
- Suited to schools, bands, and full-coach parties
A van just for the luggage or instruments
Hired on its own when a group needs kit or instruments moved without a coach — and just as ready to run alongside a coach booking if the hold needs the extra room.
Luggage & instrument van
- Fold-down ramp for easy, step-free loading
- Booked on its own for instrument or luggage moves — no coach required
- Can also run alongside a coach if the hold needs the extra room
- Extra room for oversized cases or a full band's instruments
Built around groups who travel together often
Most of our bookings come from the same kind of organisers — the ones who need a coach firm that already understands how their group moves.
Schools & colleges
Fixtures, field trips and residentials booked term by term.
Brass bands & societies
Rehearsal runs and contest days, instruments loaded with care.
Senior & community groups
Club outings and day trips at a comfortable pace.
Private parties
Weddings, works dos and family occasions, one coach at a time.
